Section 8B of the original Act. In sub-section (1) of sub-section (1), the following restrictive phrase shall be substituted:- “Provided, a doctor or health worker qualified in any post in the health service may be employed in contract service in the following cases:-
(a) in the case of a medical practitioner or health worker on study or extraordinary leave during the period of study or extraordinary leave,
(b) Any position in the service has become vacant for any reason, and the application form has been sent to the Public Service Commission, but the position has not been filled during the period."
